100% genuine

100% genuine Red Line, from authorized North American distribution.

A full synthetic racing gear oil that uses a suspension of microscopic solid particles as its extreme-pressure agent, for low drag with high gear-tooth protection. It gives film thickness greater than an SAE 75W140 with low fluid friction, for racing differentials under moderate loads and dog-ring racing gearboxes such as Hewland. Use it only in splash-lubricated (wet-sump) transmissions and differentials.

  • Film thickness greater than an SAE 75W140 with low fluid friction (Red Line compares it to an 80W gear oil or 30W motor oil)
  • Good low-temperature flow for improved cold shifting
  • For racing differentials under moderate loads
  • Used in racing transmissions such as Hewland and other road-racing dog-ring gearboxes, Bert and Brinn (stock car), G-Force and Liberty clutchless (drag racing)
  • Suspended solid microscopic particles act as an extreme-pressure agent: low drag with high gear-tooth protection
  • Red Line claims 40% lower coefficient of friction and 250% of the load-carrying capacity of conventional gear oils
  • Cushions gear teeth under extreme pressure; helps prevent tooth breakage and resists throw-off
  • Designed for wet-sump transmissions and differentials with splash lubrication

Warnings

  • For wet-sump (splash-lubricated) transmissions and differentials only
  • May be used with pumps and coolers only when fitted with an inline screen rather than a fine filter; do not pump it down the center of a main shaft, because the particles can centrifuge out of solution
  • Red Line's older data sheet says to avoid pumps, coolers and filters entirely, because the particle medium can clog them

Recommended for vehicles requiring

CIRCLE TRACK, ROAD RACING, DRAG RACING, OFF ROAD, OTHER WET-SUMP SPLASH APPLICATIONS
