Contact details you give us (name, phone, email) when you request a quote, place an order, or contact us.

Order and shipping information needed to fulfill a purchase, including your address.

Vehicle details you provide (year/make/model, VIN) to help us find the right part.

Files and details you choose to upload: photos of a vehicle you are offering us on the sell-your-vehicle form, and on the careers form your résumé together with the employment details you enter (position, experience, availability, driver's licence class). We keep these with the rest of that submission.

Messages you type into the chat window on our site, so the assistant can answer them.

Technical and usage data (device, pages viewed, referring site) collected by analytics — only after you accept on the cookie banner. Decline, and no analytics or advertising tag is loaded at all.

To respond to quotes and inquiries, process and ship orders, and provide customer support.

To improve our website, inventory, and service, and — where you have consented — for marketing such as new-arrival emails.

We do not sell your personal information.

Online payments are processed by our payment provider (Stripe). We do not store your full card number on our servers.

We share information only with the service providers who help us run this website and fill orders, and only as much as each one needs. We do not sell your personal information, and we share it otherwise only where the law requires it.

Payments are handled by Stripe. This website is hosted by Vercel, and our database and the files you upload are stored with Supabase. Orders we ship are handed to shipping carriers.

Google Analytics measures how the site is used, and loads only after you accept on the cookie banner. The Google map of our yard on the home and contact pages is embedded from Google and loads with the page, so your browser contacts Google to fetch it. Cloudflare Turnstile checks our forms for bots. Newsletter sign-ups are stored by us and, when that connection is switched on, passed to Klaviyo, the email platform we use for the list.

Two features send what you type straight to an outside service: the chat window sends your messages to Anthropic, whose AI assistant writes the reply, and the VIN decoder sends the VIN you enter to the U.S. NHTSA vPIC database, which returns the vehicle details. Please don't type anything into either one you would not want handled that way.

Nothing non-essential runs until you choose. Analytics and advertising tags load only after you accept on the cookie banner, and declining keeps them off.

You can change that choice at any time on our Cookie Policy page — the “Cookie settings” link in the footer goes straight to the control. Withdrawing stops the tag and deletes Google Analytics' cookies from that browser as well.

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us.

Résumés and the employment details sent with them, the photos of a vehicle you offer us on the sell-your-vehicle form, and the messages you type into the chat window are kept for one year and then deleted.

Order, invoice and warranty records are kept for 10 years. That covers the life of a warranty claim and the tax and accounting records we are required to keep.

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete something sooner, by emailing our Privacy Officer at parts@eskimoinfo.com.
