A full synthetic automatic transmission fluid that Red Line made as a lower-viscosity version of its D4 ATF for better fuel efficiency. It is designed to satisfy Dexron-VI, Mercon SP and LV, Honda DW-1, Toyota WS, Mercedes NAG-2 and ZF 6, 6+ and 8 fluid requirements, and it also gives a GL-4 level of gear protection in manual transmissions.
- Full synthetic; Red Line's lowest-viscosity, most shear-stable ATF
- Lower-viscosity version of D4 ATF, designed for better fuel efficiency in CAFE testing
- For automatic and manual transmissions; provides a GL-4 level of gear protection
- Red Line says it drops to no less than 6.1 cSt in use (the Dexron VI minimum is 5.5 cSt)
- Balanced friction for smooth, consistent shifts over extended drain intervals

Warnings
- Red Line (citing customer reports): Dexron VI-type fluids can be used where Dexron III was recommended, except in some manual transmission applications.
