A black, oil-resistant RTV silicone gasket maker for oil pans, timing covers, transmission pans and differential covers. It is sensor-safe and low odour, and Permatex lists it as OEM specified and approved for dealership warranty requirements. Rated for continuous use from -54°C to 204°C (-65°F to 400°F); not for head gaskets or parts in contact with gasoline.
Permatex Ultra Black retains high flexibility and oil resistant properties through use of a patented adhesion system. Ultra Black is sensor safe, low odor, and non-corrosive with resistance to oil, shop fluids, and vibration. This sensor-safe, low odor, non-corrosive formula meets performance specifications of OE silicone gaskets and can be used on high flexibility and high oil resistant applications such as timing covers, transmission pans and oil pans.

Treat rate
Cut nozzle to desired bead size gaskets are best formed using a 1/16″ to 1/4″ (2 to 6 mm) bead. A 1/8" bead is usually sufficient for most applications.
