An all-purpose, medium-strength liquid threadlocker for nuts and bolts from 1/4 in. to 3/4 in. (6 mm to 20 mm), such as valve cover, water pump and oil pan bolts. It locks and seals against vibration loosening, protects threads from corrosion and comes apart with hand tools. Permatex cites Mil-S-46163A, Type II, Grade N for it, with a temperature range of -54°C to 150°C (-65°F to 300°F).
Permatex’s Medium-Strength Threadlocker Blue is ideal for all nut and bolt applications 1/4″ to 3/4″ (6mm to 20mm). Threadlocker Blue eliminates need for stocking expensive lock nuts and lock washers and locks and seals while preventing parts loosening due to vibration. Protects threads from corrosion. Threadlocker BLUE is easily removable with hand tools for easy disassembly. (Mil-S-46163A, Type II, Grade N).

- NOTE: Medium Strength Threadlocker works on metal parts. It is not recommended for plastics.
- To prevent the product from clogging in the nozzle, do not allow the tip to touch metal surfaces during application.
- This product is not recommended for use in pure oxygen and/or oxygen rich systems and should not be selected as a sealant for chlorine or other strong oxidizing materials.

Treat rate
Nut and bolt applications 1/4″ to 3/4″ (6mm to 20mm). For Thru Holes, apply several drops of product onto the bolt at the nut engagement area. For Blind Holes, apply several drops down the female threads into the bottom of the hole.
