A double-end-capped PAG (polyalkylene glycol) compressor oil for automotive air conditioning systems that use R1234yf refrigerant. It is ISO viscosity grade 46, and Idemitsu says it is also fully compatible with R134a refrigerant.
The base oil of this lubricant is a double-end-capped PAG (polyalkylene glycol). This PAG's molecular structure was uniquely designed by Idemitsu specifically for use in automotive air conditioner compressors. It provides superior lubricity and stability compared to traditional PAGs or POEs. Furthermore, by blending optimized additives, this product achieves enhanced lubricity and stability, allowing reliable use even with R1234yf refrigerant, which is known to be aggressive toward oils. Of course, it is also fully compatible with R134a refrigerant.
- Provides excellent chemical, thermal and hydrolytic stability when used with R1234yf refrigerant, which is naturally unstable
- Unique “Double-End-Capped” PAG with advanced additive technology provides protection for the lifetime of the compressor
- Reverse compatible with R134a refrigerant
- The high viscosity index (VI) provides unsurpassed wear protection over a wide temperature range
