A continuously variable transmission (CVT) fluid for Nissan vehicles with JATCO CVTs. Idemitsu states it meets the requirements of the Nissan NS-2 specification and also recommends it where CVTF EX-1 is specified. It is not suitable for conventional automatic or dual-clutch transmissions.
CVTF Type-N is formulated to meet and exceed the specific requirements of Nissan vehicles equipped with JATCO continuously variable transmissions. CVTF Type-N is recommended for service-fill in all Nissan CVTs where NS-2 fluid is specified, and all vehicles where CVTF EX-1 is specified.
