A DOT 4 brake fluid for hydraulic brake and clutch systems with the highest boiling point reserve in the ATE range: at least 280 °C dry and 198 °C wet. It meets FMVSS No. 116 DOT 4, SAE J1704 and ISO 4925 Class 4, and the maker says it is designed for race cars and high-performance driving and also suits street-driven vehicles.
This brake fluid for hydraulic brake and clutch systems in motor vehicles has the best water-binding capability and the highest boiling point reserve of all ATE brake fluids. The wet boiling point has been maximised at close to 200° C with the aim of being able to achieve the longest possible brake fluid change intervals and minimise the risk of vapour bubble formation from used, watered-down brake fluid in heated calipers during extreme braking operations. ATE TYPE 200 brake fluid meets and exceeds requirements of brake fluid specifications such as FMVSS No. 116 – DOT 4, SAE J1704 and ISO 4925, Class 4.
